Dear Ministry Friend,
In 1 Kings 5:4, we see that God brought rest to Israel through the life of King David, so that there was neither adversary nor evil that confronted Solomon when he became king of Israel on David's passing.
We are not unlike those in David's kingdom. We experience trouble on many fronts while fighting the good fight for the unborn among us. In Ephesians 6:12 we are reminded that "...we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
Until we have peace on every side like King Solomon, we will be strong in the Lord, taking up the whole armor of God. We will pray at all times. We will remain alert and persevere in standing up for lives that God has already sparked into existence.
Toward that end, Life Choices Clinic is expanding. We would like to fill three positions that will help us reach even more individuals in our community with compassionate care in the name of Christ. We are looking for people called by God into this great work of upholding the sanctity of all human life here in the Lewis Clark Valley.
How can you help? Pray earnestly for this ministry, and please send us individuals who fit the job descriptions listed in our newsletter.
Thank you for standing with us until such a time that peace will reign on every side.
PS - Keep watching for "The Great Turnaround" coming April 26th to the Lewis Clark Valley!

Dear Emmanuel Baptist Friends,
When Champions like you give generously as described in II Corinthians 9, "bountifully, not grudgingly or sparingly," I am convinced that you are giving from your heart. I commend you for your faithfulness to spread the hope and love of Jesus Christ to those who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy, compelled to choose between life and death.
At Life Choices Clinic we are always on the front lines of this great struggle to promote life by providing our free services to all who have need of them. In 2011, nearly 1,600 people came through our doors for pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, life skills classes and more, and 89 mothers who were vulnerable to abortion chose life for their babies. Because of people like you, God was able to snatch innocents from the brink of disaster and bring them forth from the womb.
We recently spoke with a young woman who was very uncertain about carrying her baby when she came to us. After speaking with our consultant she left still undecided. A follow up phone call later let us know that she is still carrying her baby and is considering making an adoption plan. I believe stories like this abound because of prayer. Remember to pray for this ministry.
"Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of GOd" Rom 8:27 (NKJV). A prayer volunteer must rely on the Holy Spirit to show them how to pray and how long or how often. Pray until the Spirit gives you a sense of release from that request. We are simply joining our hearts with God's heart in that situation - He already knows. Trust the Spirit of the Lord to lead you in prayer.
You may wonder if your prayers for a particular situation have been answered. Sometimes we receive reports, if we have permission to make follow-up contact. Some clients write a note on an exit survey to share the good news. Many others never let us know the outcome of their pregnancy. However, the Lord knows the answer, and we can trust His promises to answer according to HIS will. When you pray, God is moved and will respond in His way and His time. Thank you for caring for these precious lives and allowing us to be you hands to touch them with the love of Jesus.
Would you do one thing for us this New Year? Please encourage someone else you know to get involved. Ask them to consider joining us as a volunteer, a prayer partner, or to attend our annual banquet on Thursday, April 26th. Maybe they will become a champion like you.
In the Lord's Service and Yours,
Scott Maynes, Executive Director
